MADAME CARVEN

Marie-Louise Carven, whose real name was Carmen de Tommaso, created Carven in 1945 at the end of the war. A haute couture fashion with ready-to-wear accents, accessible, chic and uninhibited, in the image of its creator.
Talented and daring couturier, this visionary woman has created striking clothes and exquisite perfumes, reflecting the elegance and distinctive style of her brand.

ICONIC FRAGRANCES

In 1946, she launched her first perfume, Ma Griffe. The green and white bottle and packaging imposed the graphic codes and the vision of a luxury brand that wanted to be young, mischievous and accessible. Green became the emblematic color of the House, and the fragrances an essential element of the Carven style.
In 1957, Madame Carven entered the masculine world and created the first Vetiver in the history of perfumery, an Eau de Toilette inspired by and dedicated to her husband.

HER COMMITMENTS

Carven perfumes are imagined, created and manufactured in France by expert and passionate teams.
