Description
This legendary fragrance was born in 1957, a tribute to the legendary elegance of Philippe Mallet, Madame Carven's husband.
Madame Carven wanted something that didn't make a "pomaded" man and for that she thought of using Vetiver.
Vetiver by Carven is the first eau de toilette in the history of perfumery to use this root as a signature. Carven decided to bring it back to the forefront in 2014, by releasing a reissue of this great classic of perfumery.
OLFACTORY CONCEPT
Woody Citrus Aromatic
At the top, a sparkling start where Bergamot is enveloped by the juicy freshness of Grapefruit. Lemon mixed with Lemongrass illuminates the fragrance, provoking a burst of dynamism.
In the heart, the intensity of Geranium exacerbated by Lavender reveals a masculine note pushed by the spicy accents of Nutmeg. The timeless Orange Blossom brings a veil of sweetness revealing a harmonious heart.
In the base, the warmth of Cedar combined with the creamy facets of Sandalwood blend naturally with Benzoin. Vetiver dresses the whole with a virile sensuality, creating an intensely masculine and addictive ensemble.
